Located on the site of a former fish market in Zhanjiang, this mixed-use development forms the centerpiece of a new Central Business District. At the heart of the proposal, the historic fish market is reimagined as a vibrant indoor–outdoor retail, dining, and public space, preserving the site’s role as a place of commerce and social exchange while giving it a contemporary urban expression.
Rising above a two- to three-storey retail podium, nine elegantly curved towers accommodate a mix of residential, office, and commercial uses. The project is conceived as a truly mixed-use urban quarter, providing a rich combination of living, working, shopping, and leisure. Its diverse program establishes it both as a destination within the emerging Central Business District and as a self-contained neighbourhood offering residents, visitors, and office users the full range of amenities expected in a dense metropolitan environment.

Auf dem Gelände eines ehemaligen Fischmarktes in Zhanjiang bildet diese Mixed-Use-Entwicklung das Herzstück eines neuen Central Business Districts. Im Zentrum des Entwurfs wird der historische Fischmarkt als lebendiger Innen- und Außenraum für Einzelhandel, Gastronomie und öffentliche Nutzungen neu interpretiert. Dabei bleibt die ursprüngliche Funktion des Ortes als Handels- und Begegnungsraum erhalten und wird zugleich in eine zeitgemäße urbane Form übersetzt.
Über einem zwei- bis dreigeschossigen Sockel mit Einzelhandelsnutzungen erheben sich neun elegant geschwungene Türme mit einer Mischung aus Wohnen, Büro und Gewerbe. Das Projekt ist als konsequent gemischt genutztes Stadtquartier konzipiert und verbindet Wohnen, Arbeiten, Einkaufen und Freizeit miteinander. Durch sein vielfältiges Programm fungiert es sowohl als wichtiger Anziehungspunkt innerhalb des entstehenden Central Business Districts als auch als eigenständiges Quartier, das Bewohnern, Besuchern und Büroangestellten ein umfassendes Angebot an Nutzungen und Einrichtungen bietet.
