The library space for Galerie Nagel doubles as a  small artists residency. The design directly references several spaces connected to the mid-20th century eccentric and bonvivant Carlos de Beistegui. His library at Chateau Groussay, hailed as one of the spaces where the most sophisticated people in Europe met, inspired the design approach. The inside of his „Turkish tent“ is found quoted in the bathroom.

The space houses a curated libraray and doubles as an exhibition/work space.  With the library theme we want to further advance the literary character of Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz which will later be established more firmly by the new Suhrkamp Building.
